In Mexico City there are many ruins and pyramids that you should put on your list of places to see and things to do. Mexico City is the place to be if you want to experience a lot of what Latin America has to offer. Mexico city is the center of all things going on in and around Mexico.
One area you might want to visit is the Teotihuacán ruins as they are a must see in Mexico. The Teotihuacán’s were very well versed in language and in culture and eventually without realizing what they were doing; ended up creating the 6th largest city in 400 A.D. The Sun and the Moon pyramids are a must see while you visit these ruins in Mexico City. While you are at the ruins you may run into an artist or two who like to paint the background settings and the pyramids themselves.
I bet you are asking why should I see the ruins of where someone used to live. These ruins are what created part of what we now know as Mexico City and it’s important to understand the history that this place has to offer and it also helps us to understand the people that used to live in it as well. Carrying on traditions and family history is always an important aspect of the Mayan and Aztec’s families and is something that the Mexican families tend to carry out throughout there way of life.
Going on vacation to Mexico City may be the hardest thing you have to do because you might not want to go back home. When you leave Mexico City it’s almost like you are taking back a part of Mexico with you.
